Welcome to a brand-new school year! It is with great excitement that I welcome all of our returning students and extend a special greeting to those who are joining the Almeria Dolphin family for the first time.

At Almeria Middle School, we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every student feels seen, supported, and valued. Our vision, “Learn today for success tomorrow,” guides everything we do. We believe that middle school is a pivotal time in a young person’s life, and we are here to guide our students with care, consistency, and compassion—from the classroom to the quad.

This year, we are focused on helping our students thrive not only academically, but also socially, emotionally, and mentally. Through engaging instruction, strong relationships, and a schoolwide commitment to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and restorative practices, we are building a campus culture where students can grow, take risks, and build lifelong friendships.

Our dedicated staff is here to ensure that every child receives a high-quality education in a safe and supportive setting. We want every parent and guardian to feel confident knowing that your child is in good hands—learning in a place where they are encouraged to be their best self every day.

As we begin this school year together, I encourage open communication, partnership, and a shared commitment to student success. I look forward to the memories we will make, the milestones we will achieve, and the strong sense of community we will continue to build.  Let’s make it a great year!
