READ 180 - Reading Intervention

Description

READ 180 is a reading intervention program that is highly structured and individualized. It directly addresses individual needs through instructional software, high-interest fiction and non-fiction texts, and direct instruction in reading and writing skills.​

Entry Criteria

MAP Reading RIT Score ​

  • Below the 40th Percentile​

Report Card ELA Grade of D or F​

Reading Inventory Lexile score of:​

  • 6th grade = Below 730​

  • 7th grade = Below 770​

  • 8th grade = Below 850

Exit Criteria

Reading Inventory (RI) Lexile score of:​

  • 6th grade = 900 and above​

  • 7th grade = 950 and above​

  • 8th grade = 980 and above​

MAP Reading RIT Score​

  • Above the 40th Percentile​

Report Card ELA Grade of C+ or Above​

ELA Teacher Recommendation​

 

(MAC) Math Acceleration Course - Math Intervention

Description

  • Math 180 is designed to support students who are performing two or more years below grade level. This digital intervention program is engaging, motivating, and builds foundational skills to close skills gaps.​

  • Moby Max is a standards-aligned platform equipped with adaptive tests & test-prep activities.​

Entry Criteria

MAP Math RIT Score ​

  • Below the 30th Percentile​

CAASPP​

  • 6th grade ≤ Below 2370​

  • 7th grade ≤ Below 2397​

  • 8th grade ≤ Below 2415​

Report Card Grade of D or F​

Math Inventory Quantile range of:​

  • 6th grade = 200 – 600 ​

  • 7th grade = 200 – 600 ​

  • 8th grade = 200 – 500 for MAC 1​

  • 8th grade = 500 – 800 for MAC 2 ​

Exit Criteria

MAP Math RIT Score​

  • 6th grade = 220 and above​

  • 7th grade = 225 and above​

  • 8th grade = 230 and above​

Report Card Grade of B or better in both math classes​

Math Intervention Teacher Recommendation

 

Intergrated Coding & Computing - Math Intervention

Description

Teachers integrate computer programming and robotics to reinforce mathematical concepts such as logical reasoning and critical-thinking skills with practical applications via hands-on activities. ​

Entry Criteria

MAP Reading RIT Score ​

  • Between the 30th & 50th Percentile​

Report Card math Grade of D or F​

Exit Criteria

MAP Math RIT Score​

  • 6th grade = 220 and above​

  • 7th grade = 225 and above​

  • 8th grade = 230 and above​

Report Card Grade of B or better in both math classes​
